Day 3 Highlights From PHBCW'19 For Your Bridal Dress Inspiration!

We are officially ready for day three in all its glory so stay with us, sit back and keep reading. It’s all here under one roof. We have glorious designers like Shamsha Hashwani, who will have you foaming at the mouth, along with forever ablaze Honey Waqar, who is still evergreen in her portrayal of fashion. Bridal lehngas, exaggerated gowns, definitely an intriguing day.

Here are all the designers who showcased their collections at the third day of PHBCW’19!

Shamsha Hashwani

Shamsha Hashwani’s collection was your modern-day bride with elements of tradition here and there. From lehnga cholis to straight cuts loose or in fitting, some with jackets, in shades of pink, beiges and reds mostly. The men however wore prince coats and pants or embellished kurtas and pajamas or sherwanis. This was a definite pleasure to watch for both men and women alike.

Ahsan Menswear’s collection showcased simple yet a majestic look. Classic sherwanis in blue, ivory and grey stole the show.

Honey Waqar stuck to mehndi or otherwise known as henna colors. Her outfits focused on Pakistani weddings particularly the event of mehndi in our culture.

House of Mehdi stuck to the basics but like a pro and a must collection for the modern-day bride. He stuck to gold, ivories, peaches and pinks in his festive wear. It was applauded and liked by all.

Kiran Chaudhry’s Anaya has been spinning heads since quite a while. Their debut collection La Vie En Rose was all about contemporary and bold cuts. A delicate delicacy is what comes to mind, inspired by Japanese cut stones, French beading and constellations; this color palette has surely set the fashion bar up high.

Munib Nawaz’s Farz karo is a tribute to Ibn-e-Insha. Munib has tried to portray a world where a man translates his own fashion onto the ramp. Be it complex prints, untried silhouettes or essentially traditional sense, this collection has it all. Despite the collection touching some hereditary roots it’s also focused on the realm of reality.

Reema Ahsan’s Dastaan is a tale of tradition embedded in Mughal motifs with textural grandeur. In deep rich colors, this collection had an aura of timeless class. Resham was the Showstopper and she looked breathtakingly beautiful in a dreamlike Pishwas.

Souchaj was a sight for the sore eyes and ears. Bilal Saeed’s performance was a showstopper in every way. This collection was focused on Pakistani culture which could be seen in the basic silhouettes and luxurious fabric. Souchaj also focused on classic blue as Pantone Color Institute has named it the color of 2020.

Uzma Babar’s Umsha celebrated Pakistani craftsmanship to the core. She showcased her work in textures and details. There was a consistency of embroidery work on rich fabrics seen throughout her collection.

So that’s a wrap for now. Stay tuned and keep visiting our blog for latest fashion trends and news!
